Chris Brown Director
Chris has worked in the financial services industry since 1993, after gaining degrees from both Glasgow and Stirling Universities.

As an FSA-registered pension transfer specialist, he has experience in all major aspects of the pension industry and is able to offer sound advice and guidance.

Chris also holds a diploma in Financial Planning with passes in Taxation and Trusts (G10), investment planning (G20), and pension planning (G60). He is also qualified to advise on mortgages (CEMAP).

His business experience includes four years working for a large insurance company, eight years for a well respected firm of Glasgow chartered accountants and three years for a firm of asset managers.

Steve Begley Director
A graduate of the University of Paisley, Steve specialises in mortgage advice holding the Certificate of Mortgage Practice and Advice (CEMAP).

Having previously worked with one of the largest Mortgage Brokers in Glasgow he has been able to forge relationships with other professionals in the property sector. This allows Steve to offer a comprehensive service when it comes to purchasing or remortgaging your residential or commercial property.  He is able to organise your conveyancing and surveying whilst taking care of your financial requirements.

Lorraine Rennie
Lorraine has 5 years experience working in the financial services industry.  She holds a degree in financial services from Glasgow Caledonian University and has FPC, MAQ and G60 Pensions Planning qualifications.

She is also responsible for the company's compliance and was awarded the position of Compliance Director in her previous firm.

Frances Smith 
Frances is our administrator and is responsible for all our administrative functions. She has worked in the financial services industry for over a year and has gained invaluable experience.

Mearns F Brown
Mearns, who is responsible for business development was Managing Director of an insurance broking business for over 30 years and for most of this time he also operated the third largest Halifax Building Society Agency in Scotland. 

As a consequence of his background in this market sector he is in a position to identify the requirements of both companies and individuals.

Iain Somerside

Iain has a wealth of industry experience in his current role as Managing Director of the Nationwide Agency in Renfrew as well as successfully running The Mortgage Shop.  Formerly he established JDR Partnership Financial Services.  He is fully qualified to give financial advice and lectures in the subject at Strathclyde University. 

Iain will be specialising in pensions, investments and tax planning in his role with Begley Brown.
