Last Sunday (August 10th), the Begley Brown team, along with some friends of the firm, scaled Ben Lomond. The view from the top was almost non-existent, but this didn’t dampen our spirits!
We have considered organising a social Munro climb for a while now, and when the Brain Power Challenge came across our desks, the opportunity to combine the two felt too good to miss.
The Brain Power Challenge aimed to get someone to the top of every Munro in Scotland on Sunday, 10th August, all in aid of Brain Tumour Research. Championed by Glenn Campbell, the day saw 50 teams climbing over 70 Munros across Scotland and raising over £30,000 for Brain Tumour Research.
At Begley Brown, we are delighted to have contributed to the total, having raised over £3,000, including gift aid. With Brain Tumour Research also working closely with our charity partners at the Beatson, we raised money for both charities, and both have over £1,250 in donations as a result. We cannot be more thankful to those who donated! Here is a selection of photos from the team.
Finally, watch this space as we may look to do something similar next year!
